ENERGETIKA MARKETING d.o.o. was founded in 1990 and presently employs a staff of 12 in its Zagreb and Ljubljana office. The company headquarters are in Zagreb.
In 1993 we launched the EGE technical magazine, which is our basic product. It covers a wide range of topics from the field of power industry, economy, ecology and ethics (the name is an acronym of the related Croatian expressions), and is acknowledged and well-known among professionals from Croatia and neighbouring countries alike.
In 2001 we started publishing a specialized magazine entitled Moja kupaonica (My Bathroom) intended for general public, which covers the area of bathroom furnishing, sanitary equipment and installations, practical tips and home furnishing ideas and topics related to comfortable living. In 1997 we expanded our activities to Slovenian market and started publishing a technical magazine entitled EGES, which was followed by the specialized magazine intended for wider public Moja kopalnica (My Bathroom) in 2004, both in Slovene.
So far we have published more than twenty technical books covering the area of power industry, heating, air conditioning and ventilation, gas engineering, renewable energy sources, installations, etc. Some of them have already gone through two printings and some have been translated to Slovene.
Another important area of our activity is technical conference organization. We are successfully organizing six technical conferences: the International Scientific Symposium Power and Process Plants along with the International Forum on Renewable Energy Sources (held biennially, eight times so far), the Forum on Gas (held annually, eight times so far), the Croatian Seminar on Pressure Equipment (held annually, six times so far), Interklima – the International Symposium on Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (held biennially, organized by us nine times so far), Forum on Climate Technologies (held biennially, organized by us two times so far) and Gas Energy Conference (held biennially, organized by us two times so far). In the year 2009 we succesfully organized one day seminar Possibilities of Heat Pump Application. As far as new projects are concerned the year 2010 will introduce new seminar The Possibilities of Application of Thermal Solar Systems.
In May 2005 we launched a unique Internet portal www.energetika-net.hr which provides daily updates and reliable information from the area of power industry, gas engineering, heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, installations, renewable energy sources, ecology and related fields.
Over the past years we have been organizing and providing assistance in organization of numerous events such as seminars, workshops, etc. for various clients (companies, government bodies, institutions, professional associations).
We have so far prepared (which includes translating into Croatian and Slovene, graphical and technical editing) numerous booklets, leaflets, catalogues, brochures, manuals, professional and technical documentation etc) for a great number of clients.
It has to be mentioned that during the preparation of these projects we have established a comprehensive database of more than 15.000 experts from Croatia and other countries active in all areas of our business activities. Furthermore, we have established information and data exchange networks with more than 20 editorial boards of technical and related journals from all around the globe and have signed a business co-operation agreement with Strobel Verlag, a renowned German technical journal publisher.
And finally, attention should be drawn to our greatest asset – the staff of Energetika Marketing – who on daily basis track and process numerous pieces of news and changes in our surrounding and using their expertise, skills and experience turn them into useful and reliable pieces of information the absence of which would make the survival in the contemporary globalised economy impossible.
With the view to popularize the profession, we provide all young graduated experts from Croatian mechanical engineering faculties with a one-year subscription and the best among them receive a copy of a technical publication (a book or a handbook) published by our company. In 2003 our company received a special award honouring these donations – a plaque and a commendation of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of the University of Zagreb.
